2026 STUDENT AWARDS SHOW
Conroe Art League will award more than $11,500 at the Student Awards Show scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, at 2:00 PM.
In addition to the open show, there will be a $1000 award for the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Art Scholarship for Best Western/Wildlife and an award in the amount of $300 for the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award for the theme Forever Cats. New in 2026 are new ACM Foundation awards for Best Landscape $1,000, Best Portrait $1,000, and Best Animal $1,000.
A student does not have to be present to win. (But it would be nice!)
A student may win only one Student Award, but a student winning a Student Award may also win the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Scholarship, the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award, or an ACM Foundation award. For example, the art winning the Adrianne Gerlach Award of $1000 could also be awarded 1st place of $3,000.00 in the Student Awards, and $1000 in the ACM Foundation award.
The eligibility of a student is defined as a high school senior (the student does not have to be formally enrolled in an art class), who is attending a Montgomery County public, private or home school.
Take-in of the art will be at the Madeley Fine Art Gallery at 127 Simonton Street in Conroe, on Friday, May 1st, from 2p.m. to 6p.m. Artwork must be delivered with a completed registration. Please register online.
Online registration enables us to prepare the paperwork in advance to give you an easy take-in experience. However, if you need to print and fill out the form manually to bring with your artwork, you may download the form below.
Our preference is that you register on-line. On-line registration closes at 8:00PM on Thursday, April 30th. After that time please use the printed pdf form (see link above)
Teachers, families and friends are welcome to attend the reception and award announcements.
